fizzle and burn

Just got back from five straight hours in the car on SoCal highways. My little brother is flying to New Zealand tonight and needed a ride up to LAX. Ugh. All the stop-and-go traffic plus overload of caffeine has left my brain pretty fried and it's hard to concentrate on lab-type things. Plus I'd like to get in by 8 tomorrow so I can leave lab in time for the recruitment dinner. Swell.
Yawn.
