Last Hurdle Leaped

Well, I just finished up an hour-long seminar for 40-or-so plant biologists in my department, including a couple National Academy of Science members. It was stressfull for sure, but now I can relax and enjoy my last four days in sunny SoCal before I head back to the Midwest for a while.

Here's a photo of my right after the Father Joe Thanksgiving 5K. There are some interesting things going on- for one, I'm clearly far too wiped for such a short run. Also of note: Jarrod is wearing an "Otter Power" shirt he made, complete with "I Break for Otters" cape; there's a guy picking his nose over my head; Father Joe is standing right there, but I didn't actually notice at the time.

Salk Facilities Holiday Party in three hours, Long Lab holiday party in two days. Wooo!
