Why are children so much more charming when they speak a different language? I'm at Whole Foods, since it's the nearest source of internet to my apartment (and they have cookies), and a Russian woman and her 4-year-old son are sitting at the table near me politely chatting away. "нет" has never sounded so cute. Of course it helps that the kid himself is pretty adorable to begin with.
omg. Now there's a family speaking Portuguese at over by the couch with a little 2 or 3 year old girl. too much.
