Last night I was lucky (ahem) enough to catch a couple of PBS documentaries on women I really admire. The first was an American Experience episode on Annie Oakley, the other was part of the American Masters series featuring Annie Liebovitz and directed by her sister Barbara. They made for a very nice juxtaposition of two incredibly talented women who won respect and independence on their own terms during less than condusive eras. Oh the inspiration!
