BooURNS

I've been pretty much just working in lab or sleeping this week. One point of interest- just to mix things up, I got Vietnamese meatballs in my pho last Sunday (my lab goes just about every week). The words to describe how utterly disgusting they were are, fortunately, beyond the scope of my vocabulary. Suffice to say that the golf-ball size chunks of sickly gray meat, permeated throughout with globs of some sort of translucent fat-like substence, were not delicious, and had absolutely nothing in common with say Swedish or Italian meatballs. Lucky for me, they didn't ruin the rest of my happy bowl of noodly, meaty goodness.
