My friend Laura is always keen on finding new music, so I recently sent her a several gigs worth of stuff, new and old, that I enjoy. Today I got an email from her saying only, "I like Apostle of Hustle! ... Eels are good too..." Then, half an hour later, "Man, this Eels stuff is mostly upbeat, but hella depressing..."
Yeah, that pretty much sums it up.
